Over time, the skin’s epidermis naturally evolves. Age is therefore one of the primary factors of skin aging, but not the only one. Other factors, such as environmental ones, play an important role in skin aging. They amplify the signs of aging, mainly through the action of free radicals, which cause oxidative stress:

– The sun’s rays: cause premature aging, called photoaging. UV rays penetrate deep into the skin, causing long-term damage to the DNA of our cells and slowing cell renewal.
